For me and my business it is not getting frustrated with guests.

For me personally, as a property manager and business owner, I truly believe this is not only about real estate, its a business of building relationships, and I think just being aligned with the basic principle that what we put out is what we get back, so I would be remissed not to oblige a new investors inquires. 

I want to know whether it would work legally for me to buy a home and occupy it for 6 months and then relocate for the maximum time of two years and then return to the property a my primary residence. 

He understands that the situation would be differently for me.

An other advantage of paying with credit card may be that you will not have to send the provider a 1098 tax form (only an issue if the total yearly amount is over $800).

Family members are allowed tax-free gifts and that can come in many forms, just talk with your CPA and you will should be able to structure it without any tax burden.
