Make sure you tune into the podcasts and read some of BP's books!

I say "may" because while I have read about this in several places, I have not personally verified this to be true.I usually pay contractors by check the minute the work is finished and approved.  

I am a self employed residential general contractor.

They don't really read their management contracts, or focus on the wrong parts.

@John Reagan Johnson hope you don't mind a PMC answering, but most of our clients hire us because:1) They live out of state and don't have time & expertise to remote manage2) They don't have the time to manage3) They don't feel they have the necessary expertise and/or don't want to risk learning as they go and making an expensive mistake.Go read Kiosaki's Cash Flow Quadrant book.

After reading the thread I’m glad I’m not the only one who was wondering where the app went.

I have most recently read in the last 2 weeks, Poor Dad Rich Dad and Bigger Pockets Invest In Real Estate the Ultimate Beginners Guide to Getting Started.
