I'm wondering why both of you are on here not offering any help or solutions, just to criticize me for asking a dumb question (that I didn't think was so dumb from reading other posts in this forum).

I get criticized for deals I do because I have a very long tail approach with a 20 year outlook before I sell. 

In 2015 it's hard for me to to walk 2 miles, in 2020 I can finish Waipio Valley uphill hiking in less than 25 minutes.Yes, HRT is critical for people over 55 or so....men and women both.

Perhaps scrutinize more critically what is a capital expense versus maintenance.

It kind of reminds me of that George Carlin saying "They don't want a population capable of critical thinking, they want obedient workers, people just smart enough to run the machines and just dumb enough to passively accept their situation."

Having your spouse's support is absolutely critical, otherwise, its a up hill battle all the way. 

I worked in local government for many, many years and know that there can be many layers and getting to the right person is critical.
