Each unit has its own panel in the furnace area plus a common panel.  

I have some rentals that still have 1970s wood paneling, and I love it because when someone moves out I can simply wipe it down with Murphy’s Oil soap and I’m done.

I wanted to move the electric panel, but the cost was insane.

I appreciate your opinion, but I will take my legal advice from a panel licensed by the State and have passed the Bar, the Attorneys I pay dues for specialize in Fair Housing, ADA and related, they all agree, as landlords we are allowed to ask for proof under the law. 

Should I look to install solar panels to help offset the cost of utilities, either in the shared space (hallway lights) or across all units? 

Check well by water sources.walls: condition, holes, wavy, cracked, trimmed, paint, wallpaper, paneling, drywall, plaster and lath?

It has a new roof, new windows, new sprinkler system, newer garage doors on the bays, and newer electrical service and panels.
