So although the common wisdom or recommendation is to talk to a lawyer (which I did) I'm getting conflicting advice on this whole issue of Wyoming LLCs and the level of protection and anonymity they actually provide.

How long from the time of application and until getting the funds.Me and my delinquent tenant filled out the paper work May 9th right before closing of the program and it still says ready for review.I am in eviction court as we speak and just got done with the 28day ERP BS and to be honest if I had to do it all over again I would have filed earlier and used a lawyer.

That's why I tell my clients (and for my personal properties), only to rent to someone who can be garnished down the road.If you need a lawyer for all this is a personal decision.

I know a lawyer in Texas who is happy every time she receives a call from investors because she will go after them.She is crazy because she is an investor, too, but I guess she found a way to make money, which is ridiculous

It has to be much higher than $10k to be worthy of getting a lawyer to pursue (assuming you do not have a friend as a lawyer) as it likely will be $5k minimum in legal fees.2 decades ago I had a $45k non disclosure issue ($45k two decades ago was a lot more than $45k today) in San Diego.

Hi Melissa,Thank you for the very practical advice and your insights.We have hosted providers, lawyers, grad students, nurses and one diplomat who stays in one of our 3 bedroom has the embassy paying for the house and she has renewed the past 3 years.I can see the bigger homes for corporate housing except for the one bedroom, one bath condo downtown near the hospital.i really appreciate you insights!
