New baseboard and crown molding.

You will love the 5 inch brand new baseboards around the house and the crown molding in the family room.

In the last photo, it looks like the crown molding has significant damage at the top of the right end of trim.

I learned what primer was, how not to use a drum sander, why the belt on those things are very useful, how to create a jig to cut crown, and how you shouldn't try to do all that during a two week vacation. 

I do enjoy the fact we're only an hour 5 mins from our house to the Crown Center in DT Kansas City and I do like the overall location of our house/property - so there are give/takes - quality of life with amenities/things to do Wichita wins hands down when comparing the 2.
