DIY flooring for our first flip. No construction experience.

My husband and I do not have any experience with construction but want to DIY the flooring through YouTube videos. We are rehabbing our first flip currently with hired contractors. Is that recommended?

You have to run the analysis of how long it will take you to DIY this project vs paying a contractor and how costly your (slower) pace and mistakes will be. Time is money, and if you take too long do finish, it could cost you more to DIY than to hire a contractor. Same for doing it wrong. If you make mistakes and end up having to pay someone to fix it, you'll spend more doing that as well. Home Depot has some hands-on classes for laying flooring so you can try taking a look at that as well to help you decide if this is something you really want to do.
