I'm a full time police officer and part time land lord here in abilene Texas.

Generally, rental income will not be counted until you have two tax returns showing rental income.Once you have two years land lording experience, you may be able to include the income on the new property.

I know other land lords on here sometimes use dinged/dented, but still, new appliances from outlets.

We still have the seven units in FL and am learning the long distance land lording as we go.
