Low expanding foam is more useful around windows and doors as squeezing fiberglass into the space is more work and does not offer as good as wind barrier.

If you are this worried about replacing a $300 item then rental property is probably not the business for you.Lowes has a Frigidaire one I usually buy for $359 (or a $329 one with nothing to break, no control panel, no window....just 5 knobs) and they deliver the next day for free.

It is also clear some of the work done on the house is shoddy (forgot to pain ceiling under the cabinets while they were being replaced, didn't complete the tiling of the floor up to the wall, painted windows shut with sloppy paint all over windows, supposedly fixed termite damage- but placed a beam next to a damaged beam in one corner of the house only).

I have run it through the calculator a few times but im still not certain. heres the infoSmall 570sq ft single family home 2 bedrooms 1 full bathroom recently renovated new kitchen cupboards, flooring appliances, fresh paint, upgraded windows and siding, new shingles on the roof. it also has a completely fresh slate in the basement ready for any reno i want. single detached garage nice yard and close to town walking distance to everything.
