Cleaning up after remodel?

What are some good methods to clean up and keep a property clean while showing it? My house has a dusty yard and every time we open the windows and doors it seems like we get a new coat of dust inside. Also, we painted the trim/doors/cabinets with a latex semi-gloss white, and it keeps getting dirty and the dirt wont wipe off. Is that because it isn't cured yet?
