Rookie investor here in Rhode Island..

I'm a name is Ricky Richardson I'm a real estate agent who lives on Staten Island and this is pertaining to the discussion about investing on Staten Island it is very true Staten Island will be the next Borough that development will be going up all over the place I'm already seeing it happening now!

I live in Rhode Island so Connecticut isn’t that far from me and I realized it wouldn’t be easier to start closer.

Seems to be a great deal of interest in GCs and there are so many high-end homes in the area that I know that I could make really good money servicing the Island I live on as well as the surrounding islands. 

I am a Property Manager in Long Island, New York.I have decided to join the community here on BiggerPockets to network and meet like-minded real estate investors and enthusiasts. 

Many new investors in NYC + Long Island are making it work by house-hacking.

@Michael Sweet the market is tightening a lot on the Big Island due to short term rental zoning laws, can work well if you already own one, but the acquisition costs are rising quite a bit.

Are New York City and Long Island good places to wholesale?

I had previously only been looking at the big island and casually looking on Oahu, where I live.

Anyone with any experience / success in the Virgin Islands ?
