I personally research a subject to death in order to educate myself, and then seek out professionals to validate, and keep me in legal compliance with any endeavor - whether personal or business. 

I will seek out a Realtor asap!

That will determine the type of mentors who will be able to provide you with the guidance you seek.

All others are seeking to add service and/or interpret this data to generate a profit.

And seek legal counsel.

I bought a home about two years ago, paid cash,there is no mortgage,  I want to get some equity out to finance another project,  my credit is not so good right now,  iI'm on the path to repair my creditshould I seek out other financing to fund  other venture ?

Would it be better to seek out FSBO or foreclosure properties to get into the market vs. waiting for properties to list through the realtor companies? 

This is the kind of PRE-FORECLOSURE scenario I am seeking, however this one is well outside my target price range and target location (Fort Worth, TX).Thank you,Alan

Fundamentals of real estate are those aspects taught in state approved schools for those seeking a license, that type of education is non-existent here but there are comments in forums to that you may pick up,  if you recognize them.
