Or trashing the old white appliances because they had rounded corners and replace them with en vogue stainless steel ones (or red).It's the American way.At least on a car one could argue the newer one is more efficient which is hardly the case with a new kitchen for example.

This may work with the low income /section 8 type (Although I don't have any appliances in my section 8 rentals except one that came with the house when I bought it) but with some high or mid-range rentals like the one i have in Round Rock, TX, the tenant expect better...
