Our contract has a due diligence clause in it, so we can still back out if anything huge comes up.Current Home Info: 1970 sqft, 15 year mortgage (about 13.5 years left) at 3.375%, monthly payment of $1,241 (will go up a couple hundred due to SC taxes raising for non-primary residencies).

Residents really appreciate that and it helps us with key management as well.We had a few lost key situations and what I have been thinking about is to put a permanent lock box on the back of the house or the garage.

Based on feedback from other hosts I will probably add a TV in the living room and portable air conditioning in the bedroom this Spring.I am very careful not to allow long stays because I want families that are vacationing -- not homeless people who seek to establish residency.

Unfortunately all the loan products available are mostly for single family residence that have a high LTV for example 5% conventional and 3.5% FHA.

From the ad these two were making almost double the rent each month.This was, of course, a violation of the lease which CLEARLY listed who could reside there.Initially Bill and I discussed filing for an eviction based on this violation.
