Light fixtures can set the tone for the decor and I suggest you stay neutral, not flashy, tasteful but not expensive. many have their own for upper end homes or they will decorate later, a hundered dollars more is probably just money out of your pocket, IMO.

So far I have are the following items:Change furnace filter (In encourage my tenants to do this but it doesn’t always get done)Inspect water heater and ensure bottom isn’t rusting out (am also considering draining a few gallons to get sediment out).Check caulk in bathroomCheck under sinks for any moistureCheck garage door/opener for smooth operationCan anyone help me to add to this list?

Just trying to get some quick input on what color to paint front door...home is 4br, 3.5ba in semi-custom neighborhood, neutral (tan) siding with black shutters/roof, white exterior trim.I know some buiders/rehabbers go with a standout color, others choose standard white/black, etc.Any input would be greatly appreciated.
