It's quite possible that there is a good balance, or even a cyclical nature to economies where one works better in certain parts of the cycle and one works better in other parts of the cycle.Unfortunately, a couple hundred years is a very short time to be able to test any large-scale economic theory, so there's no way to know if one works at all or if one works better than the other.But, the bigger point is that to say that "It's either one works and the other does not, or vise versa," is not accurate.

That is the beauty and the beast about this business.

I've sent him a message as this was a while ago.I don't know that I would eliminate them from consideration due to this, but I guess it would be fair game when I interviewed the company to ask why they feel I've seen so many complaints of this nature about their company online, and see what explanation they provide.

I would feel trapped in  my home (cash poor) and feel like I was gambling on appreciation but I am a chicken by nature .

If you are anywhere close to a river make sure you read any and ALL documents if there is a POA / HOA which are probably in place to protect the "Silence of nature" (This is one of my main issues with this area as a whole).

If you have wood now, it's probably been there for a while.I'd also think about doing some natural Slate tile for a higher end look.

Naturally rents would increase but they had no issues with that.
