This management company would be the entity that interacts with the public, maintains the property, negotiates contracts, advertising, marketing, etc.

He has no ambition to create something more, because he has no motivation and that is probably why he will do nothing extraordinary in the business world no matter how much money someone gives him.

While I want those I deal with to feel I have done my best to come to an equitable interaction at the fairest terms.

That said, my interactions have only been with banks and property managers. 

Other interactions I've had with her contribute to that intuition, and so I'm treading carefully and considering my options before making decisions that may cause me issues down the road.My agent is checking with the title company and the listing agent to make the case that not getting the deposit back from the tenant was their mistake, not mine, so why should I have to deal with this additional hassle?
