Yeah, the title co. missed the tax foreclosure, but in the end You sold something you didn’t own......of course you owe the money back.  

Even with a manager things may arise that cause you stress and take your money.Unless lower class investing is your main focus and you have the capital and comfort level in this arena I would not do this deal.

If we was big enough in New Haven county to have our own employees on the ground, I'd smack them with a lawsuit and so many Interrogatories it would make anyone's head spin.

I would do a research on the markets with the lower crime areas to see what levels of returns you can  get there. 

I have seen this a number of times, first as an employee in a bank where my job was to pull credit on applicants...Do NOT buy a truck or car, furniture or any other large expenditure until the loan closes.
