I'm hoping this purchase or a purchase soon will help me gain the momentum to boost my path to financial freedom.

The problem is their mentality seeks to punish wealthy, which they believe all landlords are wealthy.

Over a long enough time horizon a BRRRR is likely the best play assuming a long term boost in prices and a long enough hold period.

I know everyone is all big on the "fake it till ya make it" and "hustle hard" mentality.

If they aren't close to being paid off then might as well take the lower rates to boost the income. 

Have the mentality of business owner not a home owner. 

If it's a small amount of money your time would be better used moving forward.I've had a mentor stress to me many times that the mental energy and the opportunity costs of these situations is just not worth it.

The mentality that you're going to get rich off the rent your tenants pay is one of the first traps of the game that you have to negotiate your head around.

I was wondering if I'm over-extending myself here because it can cause mental stress even if I could afford it.  

So there may be some ways to use the few months to boost your lendability.
