Hello BP,My partner and I have a 20 unit property under contract and are looking for PM recommendations.   

My father in law is looking to partner with me, him bringing the cash, myself finding the deal and working it.

For my rental property, I think I’d feel more comfortable getting something closer to me and my partner.

My company works with a lot of investors (we manage their property) and the brokers that they use are our partners and this seems to be the sentiment across the board.

For those of you who have partnered up with an investor whether it be 50/50 or whatever structure you agreed on BUT the property is still financed and was not an outright cash purchase I have the following questions:1.

I currently am a partner in an insurance brokerage and have been in the insurance industry since 2005. 

But would obviously need a partner because I know my limits.
