What note-investing events are people here planning to attend this year?

We typically have about 150 people attend over the evening.We have networking ad a vendor hall from 6 to 7, great tme to meet people, ask questions, and learn things.

I deal with a lot of local investors who are looking to flip a house and turn it into a rental property or those looking to flip a house and sell it.If you are looking for local investors, like myself, I encourage you to attend local investment group meetups.

I’m a recent college grad, new resident of Denver and eager to jump on the bandwagon to learn about REI from others through Bigger Pockets.

I've been listening to Bigger Pockets, reading articles, and attending 1-2 real estate meetups a month for a year, networking as much as possible along the way.

Have you tried attending a local REI group and asking people for advice?

Currently getting my feet wet on the wholesale side of things out in Denver, CO, which is looking to be a pretty tough market.

@Matthew Bruce BaileyI don't know what contracts are like in Kentucky or what the custom is there, but when we're writing contracts for Colorado Springs and Denver investment properties, we always ask for copies of signed leases, rent rolls and income statements for five previous years.
