@Aaron Armstrong  Learn as much as you can and LEVERAGE you skills, (contracting) your knowledge, (BP!!!)

The size can be allowed to grow later; putting in the work to understanding the market and how it fits into the BP is the most vital part of this decision at the outset. 

Trying to do this full-time has me a bit weary (it all seems new again), and I am hoping to sharpen up my skills and make new relationships that I can utilize and give back to on all things real estate.  

It's the ability to find deals, negotiate them, and connect them to those with $$ that's an impressive skill set.

IMO the main benefit of owning individual properties is controlling your own outcomes - if you enjoy that and want to build the skill and get good at it, buy more properties.

Teaching myself to lean on others and manage the mgmt was a good skill. 

My comprehension skills aren't the best.

If you aren't happy with your agents timeliness/negotiating skills… Keep searching until you find one that is a good fit 

My hubby and I own an organizing business and love what we do; however, we're looking for more...something that can utilize all of our skills (my hubby has an extensive background in construction) and is lucrative.  

Although when done well, it can be a lot if fun and be profitable, it's not as easy as many people think and requires lots of attention to detail, accounting skills, knowledge of applicable rules and regulations, deal analysis, and at some point the ability to protect your money loaned when someone's dream all of a sudden becomes a nightmare for both parties.
