Its a non profit, other REIAs are for profit,,, FWIW.As it goes in volunteer run orgs, you learn, get help, then you become successful and then I've stepped up to teach. 

Hi Cameron,For this business, no degree is probably better than any degree.Why, because:They will not teach you how to make money in this business.You will spend a lot of time jumping through their hoops vs spending time on this business.Unless you're free at BYU you will have student debt to pay off.The positives to a degree you probably already know, possible job, possible social standing with some people, etc...This business is unique.Hire a CPA that knows this business, and you personally read the IRS rules on Deprecation, and 1031 exchanges.Hire an attorney that knows this business to form your LLC, and read an ebook about how to run the LLC.Make as many business friends as possible in the area you want to do business in by attending Real estate meetups.

I have not had a vacancy on the property since owning it; its near a major university and teaching hospital.

@Levi Rietveld I would highly recommend that you reach out to @Nikolai Ray with MREX as he is located in Canada and teaches courses on multifamily REI.

I hope you get two more votes Frank then you will have double the votes to posts.. which indicates strong content on your side.the ones that get rich in wholesaling generally are the ones that charge 20 to 30k to teach you how.. its a very very tough gig.and its highly regional too.. in some areas it can work pretty good especially in low value asset areas that are underserved by the real estate community and the sellers are not at all sophisticated in the ways of real estate or they are BURNT out landlords. either way.. it takes a good chunk of money … some great sales skills and organizational skills and TIME.  

Turns out it is not that difficult at all and I can teach myself a lot!
