So I think my advice to go into the county and talk to the head sanitarian or whatever you call them there is pretty sound, after all it would be them who would shut you down if the system is condemnable.

There should be a separate shut off valve somewhere inside the building for this outside faucet, so shut it off on the inside when you are not using it.

If your eviction got to court the judge might uphold the tenants removal but hit you with 3x the deposit payable to the tenant for shutting off utilities.

And if you ever close a deal with a broker, by all means, take them out to a nice dinner at the best restaurant in town to show your appreciation, even if they were the seller's broker and they got a nice commission check in the deal.
