Another unit will need more specialized/extensive skills... partial remodel.  

Ideally looking to purchase multi family properties that need some work, I am not comfortable with a full remodel just yet but I'll get there soon.I hope to connect with a lot of people soon!

The idea is pretty simple:  He'll pay me 1% of ARV with occupancy beginning immediately after remodel, and he'll get to keep what he nets beyond the 1% using AirBnB to manage STRs. 

I am currently remodeling my 1st SFH .

The previous owner did not do much work to the property so as I have built up some equity I had remodeled one of the apartments.

So, if you find a fixer upper, you could have the remodeling costs built into the loan.Best of Luck to you!

One side was newly remodeled and we have been living and remodeling the other side.

What tips do you have for a kitchen refacing and for designing a studio apartment? I’ve read all the blog post online about positioning the space but I’d love to hear from fellow owners how they went about it.

I would never recommend waiving the inspection period, even on a flip when the buyer will be doing extensive remodeling. 

I plan on remodeling this new property and getting it appraised soon.
