The fact that you have a contract with an inspection contingency literally means you have the owner's authorization.If the property was built in the 70's or prior, it's definitely worth it to get the scope.

This is not making us stop though, and getting bit by bit to where we want to be.However, the upside of this is that there are way more opportunities in Spain as in the US because here there is no overall investing mentality or the widely accepted possibilities.

Rent Style: I'm not sure on renting by room vs unit, long vs short, etc but I'm generally thinking that I will rent by room, prioritize medium- and long-term rentals (except for sometimes Airbnb'ing my own space if I'm not there), and fully furnish the space.

Having no mortgage with a young family is very attractive mentally, even if it is not 100% the right financial decision.

Make sure they prioritize the management side and have good contractors they work with.
