I hope they aren't considering EM as consideration.And while I am not an attorney I am not sure how a C&D can prevent someone from applying for and obtaining a license/certification, I would think that there would be an issue with the presumption of guilt without having been formally investigated, charged and found in violation or guilty.

My other option since I have my brokers license would be to work for myself out of my home using online resources and future contacts to obtain exclusive listings and reach out to potential clients.

The cool thing is, financing is easy to obtain as an owner -occupant and you can do this 2-3 times, as long as you really are living in the home for the first year.To get you started I'd highly recommend the book: Investing in Real Estate by Gary Eldred.
