I gain insight into tenant mentality.

What I'm attracted to about the idea is the efficient mentality of it.

Her mental block is she doesn't view any of it as an investment for our future. 

The concept of losing money with negative cash flow is more of a mental state of mind.

It often results in me improving myself instead of going the victim mentality route.Good luck!

I am not talking the book smart or procedures, I am talking the ability to interact properly and mentally handle it.

I’m a full time pharmacist with a full sleeve tattoo and often run into this same mentality...and I often wear long sleeve white coats to hide it since I deal with such a large daily population.

I also like to compartmentalize and keep separate my rental business from my other businesses, the real estate brokering services that I provide to clients, and my personal life, and I find that for me both mentally and practically, the more layers of separation between these the better.  

I don’t think I made the best financial decision but I am unhappy in the Bay Area so mentally, it’s a big step in the right direction.

Then again, having the burden lifted from my shoulders mentally allowed me to expand to doing the things I am doing today.It's all a very personal decision.
