It's not about you though, it's the motive and rationalization of the alleged perpetrator at that exact moment that is at issue.There's a lot to be said for cultivating and maintaining the very best tenants possible, as you would your team of contractors, agents, attorney, CPA, lenders... 

One benefit of using its site is the close relationship realtors have with the Multiple Listing System (MLS) that provides data feeds used by most sites on this list.

@Jonathan Watt Hotels can be a great business and have lot's of advantages over other types of commercial RE but as you stated there is a lot to learn as this is a very different asset class.

@Dan StrandbergUnless the process is different there, the inspection should include identifying the type of septic tank and drain field/system; evacuation; checking for cracks/roots/deterioration; type of material tank is made of; if it’s level; size of the tank- is it large enough for the number of bedrooms; whether it closes properly; whether water run through it drains properly; that the ‘hatch’ closes properly; setbacks from the home/boundary etc; and whether both septic and drainage meet any existing regulations.Hope this helps!

@Andrew ReidOne of the main filter systems I used when starting out is to go to a landlord friendly state.  

The real key is to have a good lead managemnet and follow up system.

Depending on their system this could be fruitful...or incredibly frustrating.Another option is to use a "List Service" and pay for the information.
