My parents live in Prescott, Arizona and it seems to be an area that has continued to boom, has low vacancy rates, and a bit of a shortage of rentals.

My investors don't want to live with their tenants and be constantly available for questions, complaints and service 24/7. 

I've lived in the OC pretty much my entire life. 

I am currently a renter in Northern California with no plans to buy in the market where I live.
