I'm not an attorney so I can't help you on the defensive side to guide you in the direction of how to protect your assets. 

The next time was at a conference, and I just sort of ended up in the hallway with about 4 or 5 people and one of them was the keynote speaker, and about 10 minutes he was like your Russell Brazil from BP. 

There's a myriad of issues in housing right now that understandably lenders are taking a defensive stance against.

I went to multiple conferences a year where I would always sit in the front row and make sure all my questions were asked and answered.
