I've gotten a couple names from local REI meetings that I have attended but am looking for more.

There are better/worse groups for sourcing deals, I would argue that if you did not get an opportunity to meet people who have or are working on deals, the meeting you went to did not properly address your needs and goals, and you should continue to attend more and different groups.

Recently attended an AZREAI meeting and I'm wanting to just network more on here and get some head knowledge.

I just attended Brokers continued education in Charlotte,NC on the topic of "real estate as an investment " and couldn't believe how simplistic the material was.

Our Executive Director Jill Broadhurst runs the meeting, and that's a great opportunity to get all of your questions answered.I suggest attending our membership meetings (every third Saturday), downloading our rental forms as needed, opening up all of our emails for updates, and calling us whenever you have questions.

Also attending networking events will definitely help. 

One of the things I always tell people are to read books and attend local networking events. 

Unfortunately I will be working this Sunday and will not be able to attend the event.
