I'm thinking if the following will work:Set my first LLC (the one that already has a registered agent) as the registered agent of all the other LLCs - that way, any mail coming in will go to the RA service (under the name of the first LLC and the address of the RA service), and they will process and upload it to the online storage

It can take 3-5 years to get a project built and stabilized depending on size. 2-3 for 20-50 units.Small commercial and self storage are making a lot more sense in several markets right now as apposed to apartments.Development is risky and there are a lot of moving parts so you really need to study this and hire a consultant to help you if you have never developed ground up.

In fact, you raised up more questions which I haven't done that is, one of the properties was 15 acres of land, no houses to my knowledge on it, do I still have to keep that mowed and the next one is a lot in a sub-division with 1 bldg, possibly a storage unit, no house.

If so this is less interestng as depreciation seems to be huge.I see the night rental is around 100/120 USD where I live, most of the time with 3 nights min.Assuming it is rented once every other weekend this is ~8k gross.Deduct maintenance, insurance and storage, that would still ,ake it interseting, especially with the leverage @4% !
