RV Rental Market info

Has anyone owned (and rented out) an RV? I am reading up on these that many qualify for a 30 year mortgage loan? I'm wondering if we purchased one for our own family if we'd be able to get things in place (legal/liability side) in order to allow others to rent? Seems like great profit potential. Thanks for any input!

@Sara Peak - I can't speak to the financing, but have you found the website Outdoorsy.com?  This is basically like Airbnb but specifically for RV owners to rent out their unit.  Much like Airbnb they offer $1M in liability insurance.  Check out listings in your area to get a feel for the "rent" and see if you can contact one of the owners for advice.
