Welll... i just recently recieved a nice chunk of change(50,000) from a bad auto-mobile accident i got in a few years ago... i just turned 20.. i've got a good job... and have been planning on investing my money in real estate ever since i thought i might be getting some...I'm thinking about maybe flipping some property...but I'm just trying to figure out a safe way to jump into this.....

I still think that spending money on keeping our borders safe is money well spent. 90% of the rest of the crap we spend it on is pretty wasteful absent military spending IMO.

If its a low end house (below 120k ARV) to stay safe we stick to it.If its higher end, say $180k+ then we may operate on the 75-80% "rule" Some of my competitors are happy at 90%.

It makes sense, as the article was pointing out, that foreign investors are "parking" their money here in Vancouver, since it is relatively "cheap" for them to do so and it is a safe haven from their perspective.
