I spoke with a loan officer from a small bank and one of the things he's requesting is rent rolls.

I also still have some rolling short-term debt, and a series of bullet payments totaling just under $100K, starting in 2020.

I try to be less cynical now when I hear 'multiple offers', although I still can't help rolling my eyes...

This happens when they look at the tax rolls for the tax amount which uses the current evaluation, and not the new evaluation after the property changes hands.

I must provide complete documentation each time, including a business plan, rent roll, projected cash flow analysis for the property I'm buying, personal financial statement, 2 years of tax returns, etc (all the stuff you must provide with any commercial loan).

I am willing to bet this guy will roll on Obama.
