If your market is a much of millennial's looking to buy houses next to a bunch of tech company head quarters or big branch offices, then ya it might be worth it, heck you might even get to charge more.

All of these work great as they coincide with investing & need physical offices which are of course housed in my commercial buildings.

Also if interest rates move up (which i think will happen when the new president comes in to office) that will also push down home prices, but in general now is a a great time to buy i think.

One of the agents in my office who signed up the day after i did has really clicked with me and we talk a lot and actually realistically help one another. 

Wider tenant base- singles, roommates, young family, someone who wants an office.

Go to the local county or city zoning office and look at the site plans submitted.

If you hit a dead end, call the Attorney General's Office or State's Attorney (not sure what they call it in NJ), and they will very quickly know if this is a scam, because if it is, you are not the first one to call in.

Two of the units are occupied by a handicap housing company which i also spoke to the people in the office explaining my new role.

I'm a Broker of Record, my office is located in Northern NJ, and the rules vary by MLS.

If you really want the unit, be polite and keep the communication open.
