I have heard some horror stories. 

Advice, stories or if you want to invest I'd like to hear it all!

I rented so I could buy real estate in other markets...but that's a story for another post) After I moved out I got a portion of my security deposit back but was told that, after reviewing my account, I didn't pay rent during some month "years ago" however they have not told me which month/year.

I still keep my brokers license but I don't practice and have not in years. .I have my NMLS license but I don't use it either. that's my story.

Which is a different story than when she told me they would be a good investment and would produce cash flow after I purchased them) I should have posted this topic years ago....

I've read some bad turn key stories as well as good, so remaining objective is my main criteria.
