I'd also establish credibility with them as quickly as possible and then lastly make sure you give them what the want which is the possibility of potential business.

I'm having difficulty making this transition though, as many people do I'm sure.I currently make pretty good money working full time (~70k/year) and I have excellent credit, so buying houses with conventional funding is easy, and building cash is easy.

The thing is I actually think it adds credibility not being an agent as well as the fact that my marketing would be more limited as an agent.

Building your credibility needs to be approached tactfully, truthfully and honestly. :)

Don't overlook the learn section on the tool bar some very good information in the archieves and the blogs are an excellent source of information.

A lot of building homes is credibility with subs, people buying your houses, lenders, etc...
