For quality relationships to form, it can take time so I'd recommend digging deep into someones goals and their 'why' when looking to build your team of investors/partners.I'd recommend checking out meetup.com, eventbrite and of course BP Events.

The event will be on Thursday, September 16. 

You will submit that to escrow, however some escrow companies will require an Addendum/Amendment to the purchase agreement that memorializes that the buyer assignment is occurring and the seller will need to sign that. 

The next Meetup event is this Wednesday evening at Site-1 Brewing on 25th and Farnam at 6:30 pm, and the REIA is every 1st Tuesday of the month at Anthony's Steakhouse on 72nd. 

If you are going to work in Chicago you will need to allow for these types of unfortunate events.
