Sometimes I wish there was a "no children allowed" clause.

In Hindsight, this was a blessing in disguise, as shortly thereafter I un-expectantly became a single parent, and can no longer afford the lifestyle that came with my career (international travel, long hours, etc).I spent the last 8 months home with the children, while trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life.

Can’t go through interior remodeling with our young children and no relatives nearby.  

As I tell my children, go to the Public Library and you will find what you are looking for.

- Get rid of all personal items and all family pictures (just neutral furniture and accessories)- Turn on lights before every showing- Open blinds before every showing- Create a flyer with all positive attributes of the house/neighborhood/area/etc- Make sure it smells nice- Paint your front door (it's the first thing the buyer will notice of the "interior"- Leave on a stereo or iPod with speakers playing some soothing/popular music

The homeowner and his first wife purchased the house but never had any children but the first wife had children from a previous marriage.

I have 2 children and 4 young foster children (all siblings) that we are hoping to one day adopt, and possibly another foster child (also a sibling to the 4 that we have) which we believe is due sometime in Dec.I've owned my own business in arboriculture / horticulture for the past 7 years...Thanks again, Ron.

There's also a fire hazard if furniture is placed up against them - they will heat up and catch a Christmas tree, couch, etc. on fire.

My initial thought is to purchase a property, place it in a Revocable Trust with my two (now minor) children as the beneficiaries of said trust.

What kind of furniture is on the porch/in the yard?
