No Pets Allowed

The pet issue can be one of the most challenging issues facing landlords. Many lease agreements have a No Pets Allowed clause.

You can do everything short of threatening death, and yet, pets are found in the property.

What do you do? Simple, now you have a Pet-Friendly property. Reduce your stress and workload. Instead of fighting with the tenant and wasting time and money, roll with the punches.

Sometimes I wish there was a "no children allowed" clause. Recently got a duplex (foreclosure) and there were small stickers ALL OVER the bedroom walls and something sticky on the wall by the closet. Try removing those one by one!

Children run their sticky hands all over the walls and cabinets. They sometimes color on the walls, on the floor, or wherever.

I know of another landlord where the young son in the family started a fire when the family was gone, and ran out of the house leaving the house to burn down.

Children can cause A LOT of damage!
