What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I've been hearing advertisements frequently on podcasts, but I feel a bit confused and would appreciate any assistance you can provide. 

Then, I would consider your strategy for investing, which might be:- Do 2-3 single family BRRRS each year for the next few years.- Invest in 1-2 smaller mulitfamilies (2-10 units) and drive up the value so you can pull out your cash and find another similar mulitfamily property.- Co-GP or partner on a larger syndication or JV purchase of a large multifamily.

I agree with Laura, if this is a long term rental it would be hard to convince the tenants that they have cameras on the property that the owner controls even with all the stuff that you mentioned (does not turn, only for surveillance for crimes etc.). 

Again - you need to consult (and know) your local laws very well if you want to be a successful, scrupulous property owner.

The property owners IN MASS burnt down their properties, which, since they did not file insurance claims was actually the only LEGAL way to free themselves of the continuing negative cash flow of these buildings.
