Is the market soft?

I have found with lenders that it's fun to try and hit the soft spot, when they finally give in. 

I'm glad you said you expected it, most people would have thrown in the towel at this point.

If we tame inflation and experience the Fed's "soft landing" then bonds will benefit and mortgage rates will go down.

Meanwhile, I’ve been soft flipping (living in the home, renovating as we go and selling for profit).

I'm looking at making a gross profit of $10k when it's all said and done.Here's the list of things to fix:New floor (at least 2 sheets of plywood to fix some soft spots)New kitchen sink, cabinets, counter tops.New carpet and tile.Fresh coat of paint for the walls and ceiling.New windows.

@Karen Margrave , my friend Jim has a vacation rental on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin. 3/2, with a King sized bed in the master with attached bath, two-sink vanity with shower/tub and plenty of towel storage in the hallway bathroom, then two smaller bedrooms, one with 2 sets of bunk beds and one with a queen bed.All bedrooms are smallish, while the rest of the house is open-concept.

Another thing we did to help systematize was to set up automatic Amazon deliveries once every three months with everything we need to resupply our STRs (TP, paper towels, K-cups, air fresheners, soap, shampoo, ect..).

I am not looking for feedback on what I am doing, as I have been involved for quite some time and it is a solid investment.I would love to hear what others are into as the current real estate market is soft and not going to be improving anytime in the near future.

As for hiring the same agent that's representing the seller you're offering to... well, it probably depends on which state you're operating in.
