Is it normal for a PM to ask for your social security number?

@Tracy Tang @Steve SmithLook up the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other privacy laws.Not aware of a property management company (PMC), that knows what they are doing, that will give you access to a tenant's confidential info, including social security numbers, credit reports, etc. 

If you are already super into Social Media / Video Content / Podcasting...then by all means incorporate that.

I'll do a cash-out refinance and basically will have engaged in a BRRRR of sorts or more of a BBRRR (Buy, build, rent, refinance, repeat).

I've seen Hull, Holliday & Holliday attorneys mentioned here in other posts with good reviews and have started engagement with them.

You can purchase lists and compile lists from city and county for 60-90-120 days late on mortgage, pre-foreclosure, delinquent taxes, water cutoff, code violation, probate, divorce, high equity, etc. and mail or cold call.Other methods are driving for dollars, door knocking, wholesalers, craigslist, Realtors, FSBO sites, expired listings, foreclosure sites, put out bandit signs, billboards, newspapers, other offline publications.You can use pay per click/adwords, facebook, Linkedin, Youtube, and other forms of online and social media marketing.

So yes there are shops out there that do this but to your point they tend to be specialized, but we at least look favorably on "the little guy" or the "startup" we just like to set expectations up from regarding the different ways to engage our services.I'd be happy to show you via webinar what tools we have if you are interested.
