Long story, as short as possible, we are mid 30s with $600,000 retirement/investment portfolio.

We are not planning on permanantly occupying  the property until retirement in a couple of years, but do want to use it occassionally when time allows. 

My mom is a retired CPA, a few years into her buy-out/retirement as founding partner of the firm, still licensed and still works with her old firm now and then.

I'm looking to invest in a small number of rental units (10 or fewer) in order to increase my cash flow and create a portfolio of properties to boost my asset value.I have a great job, and I'm not looking to get rich with real estate, but I do plan on retiring early and I believe owning real estate can help me do this.

I decided to sell it and 1031 into a retirement home in the TX Hill Country, where we knew we would move in a few years.

I want to be in a position to retire from my business if I choose in 5 years with the cashflow generated from the Multi Family properties I purchase.

I frequently see Morris ads on my facebook newsfeed and  I can't imagine how many newbies are buying these crappy D assets classes without doing their due dilligence ...I wonder when this is going to stop...He even encourages new investors to tap into their retirement accts and home equity lines to buy his properties.

Our initial goal is to provide a small source of secondary income with a long term goal of having additional income in retirement.
