I think $500 for a lead that is 1) openly interested in selling, enough so that they contacted or responded to your company 2) looking to sell "right now" or very soon and  3) willing to sell at a discounted price, is quite a reasonable price.

Some homes are zoned in commercial areas, a seller might assume it will be a commercial loan, but if the buyer moves in using it as a residence, it's a consumer loan.The difficult thing about taking a survey, which I'd like to see too, is that the respondents may read the listed "possible" exemptions and fail to look at the difference that some states apply as to an owner selling and someone being in the business of financing real estate sales, or land that may be used to build a residence.

@Tamiko Kettrles-Woods Welcome, when you are responding on a thread if you use the @ sign and start to type the name of the person you are trying to communicate with their name will appear at the bottom of the post box, click on it to start your post it should highlight the name and when you post it will notify the person you are talking to that they have a communication.
