Would this just bring a cosmetic improvement or would it help extend the life of the viny too?

I don't buy houses in C/D areas, as they are often a lot more work for less money.Typically, when you're starting out flipping or BRRRR'ing, it makes more sense to buy properties with cosmetics only to learn the process and perfect it.

The area it’s located in is hipster-friendly with mostly 2 bed/1 bath bungalows built 75-100 years ago.We’re on a tight budget and think we can flip the house for cheap if we keep it 1bed/1bath and just do cosmetic updates, but is this a bad idea?

This is very important, respect their time.Maybe,  you could start with an easy rehab (cosmetics: floors, paint, cabinets). 

As in I can quit claim the white house to you and be legal.... some states are fine with them and use them routinely  Like Mississippi .. other states no Bueno 

When the staff of this place does take people away, the resident believes they're being torn away from the friends they've made on-site, their routines, their cushy living quarters, and being put into a hospital environment to be penetrated by needles and catheters, constantly listening to monitors beeping, checked on cursorily by attendants whose main worries are they they lose continence or might fall and break their bones.Confused?
