There was an immediate response by the business who owned one of the buildings pictured in the news article and it sparked others to clean up as well. 

Folks need to see their attorney and conform to local practice, just because you file Articles of Incorporation doesn't mean you LLC will be working as you might think. :)

Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business.

My attorney drafted my operating agreement (that works well for my family multi-member LLC or partner multi-member LLC down the road) and my articles of incorporation for my s-corp for $500.  

So when Portland when rated as one of the top 10 markets to get a crappy deal on a foreclosure, I think it was a pretty accurate article - much different than 2010.
