I’m in contract to buy a property that has a new 2019 tax assessed value above purchase price.

We may have three or four different purchases (to keep the personal items separate from the individual business expenses.) 

Purchase price: $115,000 Cash invested: $33,396 Sale price: $225,000 Contributors: Peter Vekselman Partner Driven, in collaboration with Otis "Lee" Sams, successfully completed a fix-and-flip on Millgate Drive, Spring, TX 77373.

Problem here is, apart from the zoning restrictions of STR, purchasing a property is extremely expensive.

Why do you think purchase contracts are so long and have such small print?

I have lived in the property for more than 3 years and we have been the only occupants in the home since it was built.The potential cashflow isn't the best but our primary goals were to build up the equity in the home to be able to potentially purchase other properties in the future with the chance that we may return to the house in the future.The property is in the Castle Hills area in the northern side of DFW which for those who don't know is generally a neighborhood with higher income tenants. 1. 

Cash or credit to be able to close on the property purchase YOURSELF.  

I have an opportunity to purchase a 3/3 there completely remodeled for around 175k..Branson has 9 solid months a year of rentable opportunities and I am just wondering if anyone has experience here.Thanks!
